Nostalgia, regret, tender lies, and quiet thorns of the heart - SHIGURE sings them into five stories, painted in the scenes of Showa-era Japan. Cigarette smoke, glass marbles, red neon lights, the gap in a paper sliding door, dusty cassette tapes- all of them warm, sorrowful, and beautiful. It isn't being trapped in the past. It's choosing to remain in that "retro memory."
