“REI” just dropped the new and hot Album “TOKYOTOTORONTO (Sped Up & Slowed Down)”. It will contain the songs 'TTT (Sped Up)', 'MUCHU (Sped Up)', '2OFUS (Sped Up)', 'IFLY (Sped Up)', 'OVERU (Sped Up)', 'TTT (Slowed Down)', 'MUCHU (Slowed Down)', '2OFUS (Slowed Down)', 'IFLY (Slowed Down)' and 'OVERU (Slowed Down)' total of 10songs. Enjoy the R&B/Soul sound from the far east Asia.
REI officially launched a new R&B project under his real name, based in Toronto, Canada, in 2025.
This year, he showcased his versatile new style through a diverse array of releases, including the EP TOKYOTOTORONTO, the Vancouver-produced track Skrr With Me, the home-recorded single Different, the Lounge-R&B fusion track Go Go Go, and the Neo-Soul leaning track Thinking Bout You.
To close out the year, he surprised fans on Christmas with TOKYOTOTORONTO (Sped Up & Slowed Down). This collection maximizes the charm of the original EP released in June while incorporating the currently trending "Sped Up & Slowed Down" arrangements.

REI began his career in 2015 as a member of the Shibuya-based hip-hop crew kiLLa under the name KEPHA. kiLLa's cutting-edge Tokyo style garnered much attention, including a nationwide tour, but the group was often forced to take a break. In 2025, the 10th anniversary of her debut, she launched a new R&B project under her real name, REI.
The project's unique sound style is a fusion of the vibes of two cities, Tokyo and Toronto, its new base of activity.
