Born in 1994, hailing from Akita Prefecture. Armed with turntablism skills acquired entirely through self-study, he conquered the Tohoku qualifiers for the DMC DJ Championship in both 2017 and 2018, achieving back-to-back victories. This track was created as an entry for the "Jaga Record Award 2025," a music contest utilizing Calbee products' "Tabeoto" (eating sounds). The "Tabeoto" used in this work includes original materials recorded and sampled by Massclub themselves, who physically handled the products and captured the sounds firsthand. The entire process-from recording to production-was livestreamed on Massclub's channel and is currently available as an archived video on YouTube. Within the track's light, upbeat, and pop-oriented soundscape, the "Tabeoto" is not treated as mere sound effects, but as an essential element that forms the rhythm and groove of the music. This approach highlights the strong affinity between the band's musical sensibilities and the familiar, catchy appeal of Calbee's products. Lyrically, the song is built around the theme of "turning an unstable everyday life into dance." Rather than denying feelings such as uncertainty, stagnation, or one's own incompleteness, the lyrics affirm them, presenting a perspective that embraces imperfection. The song conveys a positive message-"when times are tough, smile and dance to move forward"-clearly reflecting Massclub's musical identity. In addition, the lyrics incorporate an acrostic based on the initials of Calbee's iconic catchphrase, "Yamerarenai Tomaranai" ("You can't stop, you won't stop"), reinterpreting an advertising symbol as a form of musical expression. Sonically, the track is driven by guitar and showcases Massclub's unique approach of translating food textures into sound imagery. Calbee's famous commercial phrase is reimagined through Massclub-style guitar tones, retaining the essence of the original phrase while seamlessly integrating it into the song. In the first half, clean guitar tones express a "crispy, light, and effortlessly enjoyable texture," reminiscent of potato chips and Kappa Ebisen. In the latter half, the distorted tones unique to an 8-string guitar depict a "depth that expands the more you chew," evoking snacks like Kataage Potato and Jagariko. This track presents Massclub's sense of playfulness and Calbee's world view as a new and engaging musical experience.

"Smog Contrast" is an EP crafted so that its five tracks flow together as if they were a single continuous piece. Both TORAUMA and bbls share a somewhat twisted nature-negative yet forward-looking, stubborn yet somehow turning things into a positive. The combination of these traits runs through the entire project, creating an atmosphere similar to the idea of "minus × minus = plus." In the production process, TORAUMA, who usually relies on melody and flow as his strengths, intentionally placed a greater focus on rap, keeping live performance in mind while developing the tracks. The two worked carefully on the transitions between songs, shaping the EP into one seamless sonic experience. The title "Smog Contrast" was inspired by the abstract contrasts and atmosphere found throughout the project, and it naturally came about during a casual conversation at a drive-thru while the EP was being created.

TORAUMA / Rapper Member of M.S.W and Final Weapon Company TORAUMA's music is characterized by catchy melodies and lyrics that describe the pain and struggles he has felt in his life over a variety of beats. Born 1991 in Towada, Aomori, Japan. He started rapping at home after discovering Internet rap in high school. Later, he worked in the Kanto area with his style of jumping into various rough waves by himself. After returning to Aomori for two years, he was invited by 604 rappers MAVEL and HANG to sing with them in Okinawa, and moved to Okinawa in a light car and joined 604. He subsequently joined Final Weapon Company (FWC), home to artists like HANG, TSUBAKI, TOCCHI, and beatmaker hokuto.

An R&B singer from Kobe, Japan. Influenced by his parents, he was introduced to music at an early age and has been shaped by a wide range of genres, including J-pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, K-pop, and Vocaloid. Around 2018, he began uploading original songs and cover tracks to SoundCloud as a hobby, and in 2019 he officially started his music career. In 2020, he released his first EP, Expectation. PAS TASTA is a J-POP project by six sound geeks that debuted in 2022. The members are Uyama Amane, Kabanagu, hirihiri, phritz, quoree, and yuigot, music producers/singer-songwriters who have attracted attention in Japan and abroad. Released their first album "GOOD POP" in 2023.
