HELLO JIROH Releases 1st EP "BUG" 6 tracks total. Recording, Mixing & Mastering by AJ BROOKLYN of "BOX337" (hereafter AJ). Kicking off his career-first EP is "bugsllfe" (prod. AJ), featuring light synths with a hint of melancholy and lyrics that frame his star quality as a "bug." Maintaining the momentum, "please me" follows-AJ and HELLO JIROH's first collaboration, previously unreleased. It radiates pride and lifestyle, blending heavy 808 trap beats with guitar tones and unstable, futuristic vocals. "please me," a masterpiece where trap beats with heavy 808s and guitar tones meet unstable, futuristic vocals, "kakato," and the interlude-like track "If I smoke this, I'm outta here" (prod. yoshi47). Throughout the EP's tracks, HELLO JIROH's lyrics and vocals-infused with roots yet tinged with a sense of resignation, like "I'm tired, beer down the drain when I wake up (please me)" or "Life's as short as a five-minute cigarette break (kore suitta iku)"-resonate with listeners, offering a strange sense of comfort. Track 5, "(+)20%" features beatmaking by fellow crew member "Jpegboy Taley" (hereafter Taley) from "Mewspace club". Its catchy melody and hook intertwine, creating an instantly memorable track-the EP's sole love song. The closing track "ray" also features Taley's beatmaking, but it takes a sharp turn from the previous songs. Its challenging beat paired with HELLO JIROH's raw rap hints at future possibilities. This release, where elements like emo, trap, and dance intertwine, fully captures HELLO JIROH's lifestyle and character. It's an album where you can fully savor his artistic essence and vibe.

HELLO JIROH

A Tokyo-based artist and rapper who paints his self-portrait through lyrics unleashed from his original vocabulary, expressing himself with unpredictable flow. In September, he released his 1st album "NEOGAKI" from his crew Mewspace club. Available on various streaming services. The lead single "TOKYO SLIDE", released earlier, also has an MV on YouTube.
