Tokyo-based rapper hamma releases his latest EP, 'JACK'. Centered around the theme of "rage," this tough, five-track EP features no guest appearances. Both the beats and lyrics deliver a raw, unfiltered outpouring of aggressive, genuine emotion. The tracklist includes "GŌDŌ," inspired by Jack Hammer from the popular manga series 'Baki' and sampling the theme from the movie 'JAWS'; "SHIMURA," sampling festival music to match the summer festival season, and an official version of "SUKEBE," previously released exclusively on SoundCloud in July. The lineup is diverse and challenging, showcasing beat approaches in genres not typically associated with hamma. Additionally, the second installment of hamma's bass music party "BAKI BAKI," which also serves as the release party for this work, is scheduled to take place. Rapper/Creator based in Tokyo, Japan. Born in Aichi in 1993, he began his music career in 2019. His 4th single last date, released in April 2020, surpassed 10 million views on TikTok. He released his debut album comma in June 2021, followed by his second album STRUGGLE in September 2023.He has performed at major festivals including JIM BEAM SUMMER FES 2024 in NAGOYA, NEXT2024 in Odaiba, and Apple Music Fes, appearing at the latter for four consecutive years (2022 to 2025).In spring 2025, he launched his own recurring live event series, BAKKIBAKI. A hybrid rapper with a sharp instinct for discovering catchy elements and a unique ability to reframe them through the lens of his everyday life. His grandfather is composer Kazuyoshi Sano.
