1st E.P. "Meet Me by the Flamingos" reinterprets fragile words such as "purity" and "beauty" in the temperature of the present moment. Throughout the four tracks, longing, contradiction, and a touch of self-disgust melt slowly like a piece of candy, eventually taking on a gentle, lovable shape. To wish to remain pure always comes with a little pain. Yet, even in that reality, I still choose to believe in something beautiful. This E.P. is the sound of that small, almost playful resistance.
