The 18-year-old super-new-generation singer-songwriter/trackmaker "cat biscuit," who creates genre-defying outsider music, has completed their first full-length album featuring 7 tracks, releasing it on Wednesday, December 3rd! This album is a work woven through the unstable season of adolescence, a document of a wavering youth oscillating between the dark corners of a mind consumed by rumination and the faint glimmers of hope that still shine somewhere. It contains songs that seem to transform those unspoken mental habits-like endlessly replaying the same thoughts in a closed room-into the very structure of sound. They feel ephemeral and lonely, yet somehow warm. Contradictory emotions breathe simultaneously within them, leaving a mysterious resonance that deepens with each listen. The album carries the unique emotional turbulence of adolescence, with an unseen loneliness running beneath the surface. Yet this atmosphere is never stifling; like the faint light breaking through the pre-dawn sky, it distinctly seeps with the wish that "kindness may exist in the world to come." Electronic, band sounds, and ambient textures blend together, creating a soundscape that mirrors the complex inner world of young people living in the city. The seventh track features a remix by Cwondo, the solo project of No Buses' guitarist/vocalist Kondo Taisei, who freely traverses electronic and sampling genres. While preserving the original's shadows, the sound particles are finely rearranged, transforming it into a unique remix blending restlessness and transparency.
