Cojok returns with a newly mixed and remastered cover of David Bowie's"Strangers When We Meet," reimagined with fresh sonic textures. Originally released in 2024 as a one-year-limited digital track, this rendition sees a complete rebirth through an updated mix and remaster. While the previous version leaned into a more rock-oriented sound, the new take embraces a steady four-on-the-floor beat, evolving into a deeper, more danceable arrangement. Within its quiet intensity, Cojok delicately weaves a heartfelt tribute to Bowie. The recording features an all-star lineup from Japan's music scene: Takamune Negishi on bass, Jun Tanaka on drums, and Toshiyuki Kishi on synthesizers - all joining Cojok's core members Kco (vocals/chorus) and Satoshi Ase (guitar/electronics). Mixing and mastering were handled by Satoshi Ase, who has recently gained notable recognition as a mixing engineer across both commercial and independent projects. With a unique ability to balance the sensitivity of a performer with the objectivity of a sound designer, Ase's remix is rich in nuance and sonic precision. A restrained emotional current pulses beneath the surface. A sonic narrative - quiet, yet unwavering - echoing Cojok's own interpretation of Bowie's legacy. Cojok

Cojok was formed by Kco(Vocal/Acoustic guitar)and Satoshi Ase(Electric guitar and computer programing) 2006 in Osaka, Japan. Their music is based on erectlonica, folk, progressive-rock and classic,but they build their original genuine ''Aco-Tronica''. In 2010, Cojok released their first album ''CRYSTAFIR'' from their own label Nashuca Sounds. A record producer Masahide Sakuma (Plastics/Yonin-bayashi:He had collaborated Mick Karn, The B-52's, Talking Heads and so on) found their activities on MYSPACE and he asked them to join the live-tour of his band as an act. After that Cojok worked on their music with him and released 2 songs ''Fall/Mo'mentina'' by his produce. They're definitely open for creating new musical experiences.In 2011,ECLIPSE from FUJITSU TEN(Japanese Electronicsmaker) supported their 10.2 ''Surround'' concert at a classic hall in Yoyogi. In addition,they've tried to spread DSD(Direct Stream Digital) and high-resolution audio streaming so positively from early 2012. They appeard a studio-live-recording which Sound&Recording Magazine(Ritto Music Co., Ltd.)planed and KORG sponsored.Thet played with many musicians-----Gota Yashiki(Dr), Takamune Negishi(Ba),Tomohiko Gondoh(F.Hr) and Seigen Tokuzawa(Vc) with his quartet---------.Yoshifumi Iio recorded the show by KORG DSD recorder. It was released as an album named ''QUANT'' from Sound&Recarding Magazine label in 2012.
