[Kumo no Iro] - the first digital release and debut album from Uka. Recorded exactly as they perform live, the album captures real-time sonic interplay between voice and bass, preserving the delicate momentary flicker of each performance. Layered with subtle effects, their sound paints floating landscapes filled with air and weightless color. [Mizu no Utsuwa (Water Vessel)] An instrumental born from playful studio sessions. Composed during the hydrangea season, its title draws inspiration from hydrangea. The track spreads a sense of clarity and soft wavering, like water held gently in a vessel. [Watashi no Rousoku (My Candle)] A song inspired by the vocalists childhood memory of the Grimm tale [Godfather Death.] From the thought that no one truly knows how much of their lifes flame remains, the piece reflects quiet fragility and introspection. A debut work that lets you feel the colors and atmosphere drawn by Uka just as they are. May these gentle hues-the faint, drifting {colors of the clouds} just above everyday life-find their way to you.
