Lipsum - the rising alternative R&B duo formed by singer-songwriter ZIN and beatmaker/producer TiMT - is set to release their debut EP Freezing and Thawing (in a forest). The six-track project includes four previously released singles and introduces the duo's most atmospheric and emotionally nuanced work to date. The title Freezing and Thawing reflects the duo's creative process: written and produced in a quiet winter forest in February, the EP captures fleeting moments, emotions, and scenery preserved like frozen memories, slowly melting back into the world. Blending folk-tinged textures with ambient warmth, Lipsum delivers an alternative R&B sound that feels intimate, cinematic, and deeply immersive.
