In an era when the world was enveloped by invisible anxieties and we were forced to stand still, Modern Blank Theory presents a new artistic venture with its instrumental album "Modern Symphony No.1 Beginning". This work traces, through sound alone, the emotional journey of stepping out of darkness and walking once again toward the light. The opening track, M.1 "Glimmer of Dawn", portrays inner shadows such as depression, racing thoughts, and the sensation of a body that refuses to move, expressed through noise and dark textures. As the music unfolds, rest and time gradually bring recovery, and the process of learning to live fully in the present without fearing the future is depicted through the richness of orchestral layers and a radiant fanfare. It stands both as a record of the pandemic era and as a story of one individual's emotional rebirth. M.2 "Nostalgia" draws inspiration from a sudden, tender recollection of the artist's hometown. Memories of walking home at dusk, surrounded by nature, are painted with gentle dynamic shifts between piano and violin, revealing a scene that is calm and kind, yet quietly grand. In M.3 "Once More", feelings toward someone who can no longer be met are expressed through a dialogue between oboe and English horn. Hearts that remain connected despite distance, and a serene sense of longing that only time can soften, resonate quietly throughout the piece. The final chapter, M.4 "Journey to Freedom", depicts stored energy finally stirring, breaking away from the past, and stepping into a new world. From weighty strings and bouncing violins to majestic brass lines and an uplifting EDM section, the music expands with intensity, powerfully sounding the exhilaration of charging forward into the future. Across all four tracks, the album tells a story of a new beginning, moving from darkness to light, from stagnation to motion.
