KIRINJI's highly anticipated new album has arrived! KIRINJI will release the full studio album, TOWN BEAT, for the first time in two years and four months. This 17th album contains nine tracks, including two KIRINJI's version (what a night originally sung by V6 and LEMONADE feat. Tomomi Oda originally sung by THE IDOLM@STER), remix version of Sing and Play, and six original songs. Literally, TOWN BEAT boasts these gems of masterpiece with strong beat. KIRINJI showcases his exceptional songwriting skills through this latest album. TOWN BEAT will be also available in two physical editions: regular edition and limited edition. The limited edition includes instrumental of these nine tracks. Fans can order the limited edition on KIRINJI's website. Music video for unseen dancer feat. The sibling duo, KIRINJI was formed in October 1996, in Tokyo and then Yasuyuki and Takaki Horigome (both Guitar/Vo, respectively) started writing songs together. KIRINJI made an indie debut in 1997 and a major debut in 1998. KIRINJI successfully established themselves in the J-POP scene in no time.
In 2013, Yasuyuki Horigome left KIRINJI and Takaki Horigome restarted six-member band "KIRINJI" with new members.
Disbanding in 2020, KIRINJI has been active as Takaki Horigome's solo project since 2021. KIRINJI has established his own label "syncokin" and then released their new album "Steppin' Out" In September 2023. KIRINJI held their sold-out tour, KIRINJI 25th ANNIVERSARY LIVE, in May 2024 in Tokyo.
KIRINJI is set to release a long-awaited new song, Sing and Play, on March 19th, 2025.
On July 25th, 2025, KIRINJI is performing on FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '25 for the first time. KIRINJI has been proactively performing domestically and internationally (South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, etc.).
In addition to the release of his own works and live performances, he has covered a wide range of activities such as providing music to various artists, creating background music and theme songs for TV dramas and movies, and many others.
Based on his deep knowledge for music, genre-blending songwriting and unique perspective for music,
KIRINJI has attracted not only music fans but also renowned musicians and celebrities.
