Ive stopped chasing perfection. I usually write my lyrics by looking inward, as if Im having a quiet conversation with myself. Because of that, it often takes time. But this song was different. I gently let the words fall, and before I knew it, it was finished. It felt like my current state turned directly into sound. A few years ago, I probably would have hesitated to release it. But Ive stopped chasing perfection. To you who found this song, to you it reached exactly when it was meant to may your everyday life have a small space of blankness, a little margin to breathe. The artwork for this release was created by my childhood friend and artist, simpson. Without saying much, quiet yet full of life, that image feels like the very way this song exists.
