“Azusa Yamada, Kyotaro Hori & Jyunichi Kamiunten” just dropped the new and hot Album “ICI”. It will contain the songs 'Fanfaria', 'Quiet Room', 'ICI', 'Shangri-la Suite', 'Usuzuki', 'Asasuzu', 'Old Cork', 'Dance', 'ICI_ II' and 'Cure' total of 11songs. This album is the debut work of a new unit formed by Azusa Yamada, Kyotaro Hori, and Junichi Kamiunten, all exceptionally talented musicians with their unique playing styles. The instrumental arrangement is unique: marimba, trumpet, and bass clarinet, with the addition of vibraphone, tenor saxophone, and even throat singing (khoomei). Please enjoy their unique and incomparable sound.

Azusa Yamada, Kyotaro Hori & Jyunichi Kamiunten

Azusa Yamada majored in marimba and studied under Keiko Abe and Mayumi Hama at the College Diploma Program of the Faculty of Music at Toho Gakuen School of Music. While still a student, she participated in "WUJA BIN BIN" and "Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra", and released live performances and albums with her own bands nouon and Azusa Yamada Quintet. Since 2016, she has released the "Azusa Yamada and Pearl Alexander at Sakaiki" series. She has supported artists such as Gen Hoshino and Masakatsu Takagi, and performed at Glastonbury Festival, FUJI ROCK, and other venues both in Japan and abroad. In recent years, she has been creating musical picture books and engaging in new activities with the new trio "ICI".
