『REUNION:03 Prologue』は、Josh Surface作曲による完全オリジナル・スコアとして構築された、物語の始動以前を描くオリジナル・モーションピクチャー・サウンドトラックである。 ゼロポイント・フィールドにおける意識の発火、ゴーストの残響、SISとシオン、そして過去に描かれたアルカディアでの歪みと崩壊の兆し——。Josh Surfaceは、音そのものを通して感情と状態の推移を描写するという手法を採っている。 アンビエント、ダークシンセ、インダストリアル、クラシックなど多種多様な手法を惜しみなくつぎ込み、映画的スコアリングを基軸に、全24曲は“シーン”ではなく“心理的レイヤー”として配置され、 静寂と緊張、安らぎと不穏が有機的に連なっていく。 本作は『REUNION:03』本編へと向かうための音による精神的プロローグであり、Josh Surfaceの音楽的世界観と物語構築能力が最も純度高く表出した作品である。 これは単なる伴奏音楽ではない。 作曲家 Josh Surface によって語られる、物語の起点そのものである。
