  After declaring the end of their first phase of activities in the summer of 2023 and leaving fans eagerly awaiting their next move, Dos Monos finally announces the beginning of their second phase with the release of their latest track, "QUE GI". For this track, Dos Monos invited Otomo Yoshihide, a maestro who has continued to influence the Japanese music scene profoundly through his work in free jazz and noise music fields since the 1990s, and who also won the Composition Award at the 55th Japan Record Awards for his music in the serial TV drama "Ama-chan". This track, featuring Otomo Yoshihide as a guest turntablist, marks a departure from Dos Monos' previous hip-hop direction, embracing a rap-rock taste in line with Zo Zhit's declaration of transitioning from a Hip-Hop crew to a Rock band. The song's depth is further enhanced by live performances from drummer Kazuya Ooi, known for his work with yahyel, DATS, DAOKO, THE SPELLBOUND, Aina The End, iri, and Junya Ichikawa, the bassist from D.A.N. The mix engineer is The Anticipation Illicit Tsuboi, continuing the collaboration with Dos Monos. The jacket design is by the contemporary artist GILLOCHINDOX GILLOCHINDAE, who draws inspiration from manga and movies' subcultures to explore themes of "urban and youth" in his work, creating a piece inspired by the title. This release marks the first audio release from Dos Monos' second-phase new album "Dos Atomos," which has gradually revealed its aspects through collaborations, such as the manga "Dai Dark" by Kyu Hayashida, the original teaser video for the movie "HOW TO BLOW UP," and the recently announced teaser video for the "Super RIZIN.3" match between Mikuru Asakura and Ren Hiramoto.

  Dos Monos

  Zo Zhit, TaiTan, and Botsu aka NGS are a hip-hop trio known for their experimental sound and high-energy live performances. They have gained enthusiastic support from various scenes both in Japan and abroad. In 2018, they announced a contract with LA label Deathbomb Arc, and released their debut album "Dos City" in March 2019. Since then, they have established a firm position in the Japanese music scene through their performances at various events and festivals, as well as through their self-produced event "Theater D," which is held irregularly at live houses, clubs, movie theaters, and online. The trio's collaborations are not limited to the music industry, as they have also worked with Audrey Tang, Taiwan's Minister of Digital, and Yasutaka Tsutsui, a giant in the world of Japanese literature. They have also collaborated with Ryohei Kamide, a producer of HardBoiled Gourmet Report, to produce the experimental late-night TV show "Futa," which was accompanied by an album called "Larderello." Their single "ŌBO" was used as the opening theme song for "HITOSHI MATSUMOTO Presents DOCUMENTAL Season10," among other achievements. In addition, the trio has crossed genres and collaborated with artists such as UK rock band "black midi" and US hip-hop group "Injury Reserve". They have recently successfully completed a European tour with black midi in October 2022, solidifying their position as an outlier in the global hip-hop scene that is currently gaining attention.

  The 22 year old started DJing at the young age of 17. Now in the 4th year of his music career, and within 2 months of launching into music production, his remix "BTS - Fake Love (BUNNY Remix)", uploaded to Sound Cloud, was played by Zedd at Ultra Korea 2018, and also played by Salvatore Ganacci at Spectrum Dance Music Festival . Attracting interest in the past on SNS as the "high-school student DJ", he commands a loyal following from the younger crowd---the vibe he has built up with them is like no others in his generation---while at the same time he has earned a strong reputation amongst those in the music industry. In the past the mix CDs of this high school student DJ have appeared one after the other near the top of the iTunes dance chart, while now he has embarked on a journey as a young artist bursting with the energy to take his music to the next level. Currently he is playing at ageHa as a residential DJ, witch is the largest music club in Japan.

  Plastic Girl In Closet

  A two-piece band from Iwate Prefecture in northeastern Japan, they began performing under their current name in 2006, released their first album "TOY" in 2010, and have since released six full-length albums and numerous other works. Their genre is mainly shoegaze and guitar pop, but they incorporate various musical elements in their expression. At the root of their music is always the beauty of melody. 2022, they started a series of remakes, reinterpreting previously released albums with current interpretations, releasing "White Loud" in January and "eye cue rew see" in July (both from 2014). Currently, they are releasing new music on a regular basis.
