vi Baba, born in Osaka in 1999, is a 20 year old singer/songwriter. Since getting his start releasing his first track on SoundCloud in 2017, he has continued to regularly release new tracks on the platform. He is noted for his trap, cloud rap, and alternative rock influenced melodic rap technique, as well as his introspective and often dark lyrics. He released limited-edition EPs in both February and March of 2019 and was selected for the weekly "New Artist Spotlight" on Apple Music and SSTV's "Power Push." In September 2019, he released his first album, "KVI BABA."He is fittingly frequently branded as an 'emotional' artist.
