*hana-oto*

An acoustic unit from Hanamaki City in Iwate Prefecture. Started as *HANA-OTO* in April, 2010. Some of its songs are highly influenced by Kenji Miyazawa, a famous poet & fairy tale writer in the early twenties from Hanamaki. You may feel "IHATOV", Utopia in the motif of then Iwate created by Kenji Miyazawa, when you listen to *HANA-OTO*. [Not just pop songs, but HOKKORI TOHOKU POPS!] *HOKKORI is an onomatopoetic word which expresses warm or warm-hearted. *TOHOKU is the region located in the north-eastern part of Honshu Island, including Iwate.
