“Wind.Express.Music & Cagatay Akyol” just dropped the new and hot song “Hittite Suite”. It will contain the song 'Hittite Suite' . Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.
During working on the Hattusa project realized for the European Union in 2012 we found out from the figures on the Inandık vase exhibited at the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara that the harp was used as a musical instrument in Anatolia 3700 years ago. Naturally it was not possible to obtain neither an original recording nor a rhythmical character of this instrument performed during that time. My composition Hittite Suite is based on typical folkloric Anatolian themes, syncopated rhythm and my perception of the lives and times of the Hittites 3700 years ago. Thus I hope that I managed to carry and reflect the scent, feeling and atmosphere of the Hittite times with this piece. Cagatay Akyol
