“Koki Miura & Hibiki Orie” released the new music Album “The Light of Banshu”
“Koki Miura & Hibiki Orie” just dropped the new and hot Album “The Light of Banshu”. It will contain the songs 'Hana Ichimonme', 'Love of Firefly', 'Weak Men' and 'Nikata' total of 4songs. Enjoy the Instrumental sound from the far east Asia.
Koki Miura who plays Wadaiko a traditional Japanese drum and Hibiki Orie an expert with the Tsugaru Shamisen a three-stringed traditional Japanese instrument together have recently released their first mini album titled Banshu no Hikari (The Light of Banshu). Both of them are based in Miyagi prefecture of Japan, and they are playing in duo. We are all concerned our lives and our future. Our Hearts ache when we are surrounded daily with all the terrible news and unexpected events. It would be great to let people hear the inspiring music and melodies of Banshu no Hikari. May their music be able to reach more souls and become a little light to them. This album has 4 songs. "Hanaichi Momme", an inspiring melody only with Wadaiko and Narimono a traditional Japanese sound instrument. "Nikata", an arrangement song from Akita folk. Finally, "Hotarukoi" and "Yowaki Otokotachi", collaboration with our special guest - keyboard player Mr. Megumu Saito. These two songs give the audience a very unique experiences of music from traditional Japanese instruments. We hope listening to this music will inspire you and brighten your spirits, as you can feel the small light that speaks strongly and gently to your hearts.

-Biography- ///Koki Miura plays Japanese drum Wadaiko and sound instrument Narimono. He becomes an independent musician in 2019. He was the instructor of the Reconstruction Wadaiko Team of Ogatsu Junior High School, a Japanese idol group called AKB48, and TERU-an artist from GLAY band. Koki Miura has collaborated with many famous artists like Tokiko Kato, GLAY, Aya Sugimoto, and Ikumi Kumagaya. He has been performed and recorded with them both locally and internationally. In 2018, he worked with the world premiere of Shakespeare musical "KNIGHTS'TALE" directed by John Caird, starring Koichi Domoto and Yoshio Inoue. His music brought him very good reputation. For Koki's play doesn't only focus on the power of music, but also the meaning behind the rhythm. People say Koki Miura's music is "a talking Taiko (Japanese drum.)" ///Hibiki is a musician of Tsugaru Shamisen and Wadaiko, a dancer of Tsugaru Teodori(hand dance). Hibiki has been practicing Tsugaru Shamisen, Wadaiko, and Tsugaru Teodori since her early age. Currently she works in Japan and internationally. She is also teaching shamisen with the Sangen Odajima style. So far, she has won various tournaments, including "Japan's No. 1 Decisive Match A-Class Women's Club" in the original Shamisen prefecture Aomori. She is a member of the Sekikawa Ishikawa Yoshiumekai family -No.1 group Tsugaru dance in Japan. She also won the national individual competition held in Tokyo Like Miura, Hibiki has a performance on "KNIGHTS'TAL.", which is the world premiere of Shakespeare musical directed by John Caird, starring Koichi Domoto and Yoshio Inoue.
