Coming out of an extended rainy season in Japan, Tokyo based artists Laura Ribeiro and Zuma. kick off the summer with new single "FUN" - a carefree expression reminiscent of an easy summer day with an upbeat reggaeton flare. Brazillian-Portugese singer Laura Ribeiro delivers silky, vintage laden vocals with a nonchalant attitude over the upbeat rhythm of Zuma.'s lighthearted latin groove inspired by the simple joys of a sun soaked day. FUN dwells on the simple happiness of everyday affairs, from having a nice cup of coffee (or a shot of tequila), dancing to your favorite jams, to exploring the adventures of a casual love interest - the song begs to ask its listeners... what do you do for fun? About the Artists: Laura Ribeiro is a singer-songwriter, Brazilian-born, raised in London and currently living in Tokyo. She released her first single ' Summer nights - uma noite de verão ' in September 2019. Followed by releasing ' Dreaming ', and her debut EP ' INSOMNIA '. Her music has been featured on various Spotify editorial playlists - including ' New Music Wednesday ' & ' New Music Friday ' Japan. Laura Ribeiro collaborated with Chocoholic on her debut EP 'Rewrite' with their song ' ILYAI ' that has been played on Japanese radio stations a number of times. Laura is Brazilian and raised in South London. She has been living in Tokyo for five years where she developed a career in modeling having been featured as cover girl for Cosmopolitan Japan for LGBT+ month. Diesel Japan Campaign for 'Make love not walls', various features in Nylon Japan, Vogue Taiwan and a campaign for H&M Japan.
Laura came out in 2016 as lesbian, and has ever since been sharing her experience on social media. She started a YouTube channel that shows her daily life in Japan.
Laura has always expressed herself creatively, taking on a new chapter to express herself musically with her new upcoming music which is has nostalgic vibes and fits a Indie/Pop/Lo-Fi RnB.
