IN-KYA in Canada is a dance music band founded by three college friends: Kannon (keyboard, synthesizer and vocal), Ronpo_ (synth bass), and Natsuki (guitar). The three formed the band in September 2018, after they had met and performed together at a college music club at Nagaoka University of Technology in Niigata prefecture, Japan. All three members contribute to the musical composition and arrangement , thus leading to a beautiful fusion of the members' creativity and musicality. Their dance music has a foundation based on house, disco, and electronic music, and is further enriched and adorned with their signature high-pitched vocals and a myriad of musical elements originating from pop, rock, funk, techno, shoegazer, and new wave, creating the truly one of a kind sound of IN-KYA in Canada. Their concerts are characterized by a mixture of synchronized tracks and playing with guitars, synths, vocals, and Talk Box.
