It is a track that seamlessly merges elements of 80s techno with 2000s disco punk. Wang One refers to this fusion as "Future Disco Punk." This genre blends DAW-based electronic pop with 2000s Disco Punk, rooted in early 80s techno, post-punk, and new wave.
The reason Wang One became captivated by "Future Disco Punk" is the significant influence of Chinese music streaming services that began in the 2010s. With the advent of streaming, Wang One gained free access to international music, discovering artists like Daft Punk, KRAFTWERK, and YMO. Particularly inspired by Daft Punk's French electro-pop, they crafted their current musical style.
"(I Don't Give a) Crap" is pronounced "Crap," without reading the parentheses. The track instantly draws listeners in, raising the energy and tension of the entire song. A particularly exhilarating moment is Lola's "hahaha" laughter part in the B section. This track is an updated version of a song created three years ago (2021), and Lola's Laughter is the original recording from three years ago. This laughter adds humor and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on the listener.
The lyrics depict the emotions of trying to find one's path between dreams and reality, conveying a message of following your beliefs without being bound by conventional rules or expectations.

Wang One
Vocalist, Lola One from Nanjing and DJ, Case Wang from Shanghai met in Tokyo and formed the electronic pop unit Wang One. The band's name originates from a combination of their names, Wang and One.
On January 30 and February 1, 2024, despite not having debuted yet, they served as the opening act for the Japanese tour (Tokyo and Osaka performances) of the Chinese mixture rock band STOLEN.
On July 17, 2024, they released their debut single, Walk On Shame, marking the first step in establishing Wang One's signature style, Future Disco Punk. The music video was directed and edited by Case himself and serves as a visual representation of one of Wang One's key concepts: a retro-futuristic world.
On September 28, 2024, they are scheduled to perform at the HAYAMAtic! 2024 Summer Closing Party, where they will perform a new song, (I Don't Give a) Crap, perfectly suited for the end of summer.
Lola One: Hailing from Nanjing, she is responsible for singing, songwriting, and composition. On stage, she captivates the audience with her cool expressions and powerful voice. Her English lyrics reveal a deep and unique worldview, foreshadowing a new generation of electronic pop.
